When I first arrived at the Southeastern Guide Dogs campus, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was a little nervous about being away from home for a month to learn how to get around with my new guide dog. But as soon as I met my dog, Ted, everything changed! By graduation day, I knew that life was going to be different. With my dog by my side, a whole new chapter was just getting started.

Southeastern Guide Dogs doesn't charge anything for our dogs, or for the training. I'm thankful for their services, and that's why I'm participating in their biggest fundraiser of the year: the Walkathon.

Won't you join me in supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs in their mission to raise and train these puppies, and provide such a priceless service? I've set an ambitious goal, and your help means a lot to me – and to those of us whose lives are changed forever because of a guide dog. Teddy and I thank you for your help. Your donations make it possible for these puppies to stay healthy and grow into career dogs of the highest caliber – and then go home with people like me!
