Personal Message:

Please join me in my effort to raise funds for the 2010 Southeastern Guide Dogs Walkathon! This is their biggest fundraiser and all donations go directly to training guide dogs for the visually impaired.

A guide dog provides a blind person with the mobility and independence the rest of us take for granted. I’m genuinely proud to be able to contribute to this powerful cause.

I hope you feel the same way because I’ve set an ambitious goal for myself and would like to be able to count on your help and support.

I’m trying to raise $1,000 which is the amount to sponsor the medical care for 1 litter of puppies - birth to 9 weeks.

I am training my third guide dog puppy for SEGDI.
"Brax" was my first guide dog puppy; he was a Goldadore and graduated as a working guide dog in 2008.
"Frankie" was my second guide dog puppy, she was a Lab, and was adopted out from SEGDI in April 2009 due to allergies.
"Toby" is my current puppy; he is a yellow Lab.  I received him May 30th 2009; he will return to SEGDI late spring 2010.
He is also in the breeder program - so he has a chance of being a breeder dog.

If you would like to track the progress and adventures of the puppies I raise then visit their blog at : www.guidedogawareness.blogspot.com  Straight from the Dog’s mouth! (Written by the dog, from their point of view)

Your online donations are totally secure and, of course, tax deductible. I think my personal page is a great way for you to be part of changing someone’s life! You can also send me a check if that’s easier for you.

No amount is too small to make a difference. Thank you so much for helping out!
